Essential goods and “Start Out” packs
When whānau are resettling after a crisis, they often start with very little. We are always in need of high-quality, essential items. Following the lead of our partners like St Vincent de Paul and Zonta, you can help by donating pantry staples, new toiletries, or “handbags of essentials” to provide immediate comfort and dignity.

Organise your own event
Are you part of a club, club or a local sports team? Organising a “Fundraising for HAVEN” event like a morning tea or a community challenge is a fantastic way to raise both funds and awareness. We love seeing the creative ways our community comes together to support our work.
Seasonal support: Christmas giving
Christmas is our busiest time of year for donations. We are incredibly grateful for our “Christmas Army” of local supporters who gather gifts for the families in our care. From toy drives to festive food baskets, these contributions ensure that every child and adult supported by HAVEN experiences the joy and warmth of the holiday season.
